I'm not very good at programming, but I am trying to make simple communication between USB to RS485 converter and arduino. I want to get instant response from RS485 (I want to get an answer with say 10 bytes of payload). What I mean is I want to send any data to RS485 from arduino, and instantly get 'pseudo' response from the RS485 on the terminal. Is there any possibilities to achieve that? For this task I want to know if sending real data to the system there would be no data collision.
